BIOGRAPHY
Very precocious, Rob Schneider began writing his first sketches at the age of 15. Doing odd jobs, he also opened for Jerry Seinfeld and Dana Carvey shows . In 1988, he moved to Los Angeles, auditioned, wrote jokes and made TV appearances. But it was the year 1990 that marked a decisive turning point in his career: he was noticed by Lorne Michaels , the producer of the legendary show Saturday Night Live , a show for which he created some of the most popular characters. It was during this period that he also met Adam Sandler with whom he subsequently collaborated.

After appearances in Mom, I Missed the Plane Again and Demolition Man , he decided in 1994 to leave Saturday Night Live to devote himself to a full-time film career. Thus he landed supporting roles in Judge Dredd , Pinocchio and Trap in Hong Kong . Having acquired over the years an ability to write in addition to acting, he headlined two films for which he co-wrote the screenplay: Gigolo Despite Himself in 1999 and Animal! the animal… in 2001. A fan of disguises and cross-dressing of all kinds, he is thrust into the shoes of a teenager in Une Nana au poil (2002).

Long-time friend with Adam Sandler , he often plays small roles in the films where the latter is showing: Waterboy (1998), Little Nicky (2000), Love and Amnesia (3003), Half-time in the Mitard ( 2005) or Just for Your Hair (2008). In 2007, he began directing with Le Grand Stan in which he also played the leading role: indicted for fraud, he plays a “loser” who prepares his entry into prison with the help of a mysterious martial arts guru .

With Friends Forever , he reunites with Adam Sandler and director Dennis Dugan (who had already directed him in Big Daddy and Revenge of the Losers ) during a weekend where a group of friends return to childhood under the eyes of their respective families .
