BIOGRAPHY
After his three years at Cours Florent, from 1993 to 1996, Philippe Bas went through castings and soon found his first roles in cinema and television. Playing under the direction of Francis Huster , in The Trojan War Will Not Take Place , seems to have been a good springboard to his career. His first appearance on the big screen was as a prisoner in Memoirs of a Young Con , notably alongside Mathilde Seigner . He also began the same year on the television side in the series Extrême Limite . Subsequently, the actor accumulates appearances: Julie Lescaut , Navarro , Maigret , Les Cordier, judge and cop …
After Goodbye, cow floor! by Otar Iosseliani presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999, in 2000 he obtained his first leading role in Te Quiero by Manuel Poirier . Three years later, he played Michel Vaillant ‘s brother in the film of the same name, and opposite Jean Reno in Chris Nahon ‘s feature film : Empire of the Wolves in 2005. Always alternating between cinema and television, he participated notably in the films Scorpion , by Julien Seri , Leave quickly and come back late by Régis Wargnier with José Garcia , Marie Gillain and Michel Serrault , or, L’Anniversaire by Diane Kurys … But he left his mark by playing Greco , a cop who visions after remaining in a coma, in the fantasy series of the same name for France 2 in 2007, which brings together four million viewers on average each time it is broadcast. The following year, he was lost between Cristiana Reali and Elsa Lunghini , in the television adaptation for M6 of Marc Lévy ‘s novel , Where are you? Not stopping at any predefined genre, he wears period costume in Le Vernis crack and the episode “Pour une nuit d’amour” from Contes et Nouvelles by Maupassant.
In 2010, he tried his hand at romantic comedy in Un mari de trop alongside Alain Delon and Lorie , broadcast on TF1. Seen in season 2 of Arte’s Invincibles , he becomes a GIGN sniper in Julien Leclercq ‘s film , L’Assaut , and finally in Les Mouvements du bassin alongside Éric Cantona .
Approaching forty, the Parisian actor, with an already full CV, has not finished making people talk about him. TF1 is calling on him again to succeed Guillaume Cramoisan in Profilage , in the third season. His duo with Odile Vuillemin , in the guise of Commander Thomas Rocher, guarantees him great visibility among the general public.
