According to University Health Services, more than 1,000 students experienced flu-like symptoms last year and four different flu sub-types were identified on campus. The CDC reports that the flu vaccine is the most important step in preventing the virus.

There are certain days the student flu vaccine clinics are open. Students can head to the HUB on:

  • Tuesday, October 1st
  • Thursday, October 3rd
  • Thursday, October 10th
  • Tuesday, October 15th
  • Monday, October 21st

Students are asked to bring their health insurance card and their Penn State student I.D. with them to get this year's flu vaccine. University Health Services bill in-network health insurance providers or students' Bursar accounts. Payment will not be collected at the clinics.
