Another season.
Although ABC doesn’t issue official renewals for its only remaining soap opera, Deadline has reported that the gang in Port Charles will definitely be around for another season. The other three Daytime dramas, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” and “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” were all recently renewed as well.
Ratings-wise, “General Hospital” is currently on track to log its best season in seven years for total viewers, and in the category of female viewers age 18 – 49, the show could mark a three-year high.
