He was born and his name was Eric Thomas Decker on 15. March 1987 in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Eric received his high school education from Rocori High School in Cold Spring, Minnesota. The young lad was so gifted at sports that he played football, basketball and baseball during his school days. His outstanding performances in the three sports earned him honors such as All Conference, All-Area and All-Section. In addition, Eric Decker was named Soccer’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) two years in a row. Decker finished his high school football prep career with 2,156 yards and 28 winning touchdowns.

He was admitted to the University of Minnesota, where he signed on to the school’s baseball and football teams. He finished his freshman season with 378 yards and three touchdowns while recording 909 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore. Decker broke records in his 2008 junior season with an impressive 84 catches for 1,074 yards and seven touchdowns, while his senior season ended with a record 758 yards and five touchdowns.

Eric Decker joined the New York Jets in March 2014 on a five-year contract valued at $36.25 million. He eventually played three seasons and recorded 33 total games with 163 receptions for 2,183 yards with 19 touchdowns. He was officially released by the Jets on June 12, 2017 after a late hit by Josh Shaw on the Cincinnati Bengals cornerback that earned him a $9,115 fine and other challenges that marred his career with the Jets. This paved the way for him to join the Tennessee Titans. On June 18, 2017, he signed a one-year contract with the Titans worth $3.85 million.
