More on that latter part in a bit. First off, you need to know where to find the Sensor Backpack. There are two locations to go for. The first one is south of Tilted Towers, making it more risky to go there. The second is between Tilted Towers and Camp Cuddle, near the three-pronged for in the road. This is the safer option. It’s on top of a grassy knoll at the side of the road. Approach the backpack and interact with it to automatically equip it.

Use the Sensor Backpack to Find an Energy Fluctuation around Loot Lake
Once you equip the Sensor Backpack in Fortnite, it’s time to use it to find an energy fluctuation around Loot Lake. Normally, you’d do this by going to Loot Lake, where the backpack would start beeping. The closer you get to the fluctuation, the more intense the beeping guess, so it becomes a game of hot-and-cold. However, there’s nothing preventing you from getting killed while searching, so we’ll mark the exact location of the fluctuation on the map below. You’ll find it near a large rock. It looks like a small patch of glowing, curving lines on the ground; you can’t miss it. Approach the anomaly and complete the button prompt to scan it.
