This Halloween, celebrities from all over went all out in their costumes and paid homage to their favorite celebrities, characters, musicians, movies, and much more. Joining the long list of fantastic celebrity costumes this year was Christina Aguilera, who dressed up as none other than fellow singer Cher.
“On my favorite day of the year it’s only right to turn back time and tribute the OG trailblazer @cher,” Aguilera wrote on Instagram alongside a series of pictures of her as the iconic singer. “Cher’s message through her music and style has left a permanent mark on the world and to this day, I still can’t believe I had the opportunity to work with such a legend!!!!”

“No one could ever fill the shoes of the great & powerful Cher,” Aguilera continued. “The love and respect I have for you is endless 🖤⚓️.”
In the pictures and videos of the tribute, Aguilera is seen rocking a few different looks with long voluminous curly hair. One look, for example, is a studded black leather one-piece and fishnet tights. In another look, Aguilera looks incredible in a black figure-hugging leotard with a matching leather jacket.

As a reminder, Aguilera and Cher co-starred in the 2010 musical drama Burlesque together. Seeing from this Halloween homage, Aguilera, much like her fans, remember the movie fondly. “Tess & Ali 4EVER 🤍♾️🤍,” Aguilera wrote in the caption of another post, referencing their characters in the movie.
