Viewers and Conemaugh patients reached out to 6 news and said they heard Conemaugh medical was closing their One Tech Drive building.
Thursday, a spokesperson with Conemaugh said that was misinformation, but did acknowledge changes are coming.
The one tech drive office will continue offering the same services to patients going forward according to Conemaugh marketing communications director Tammy Barbin.
Doctor Phillip Gvozden said he is being let go by Conemaugh and will be out of the One Tech Drive building sometime in April.
He said to his knowledge he is the only provider in that office being terminated.
Barbin said the staffing changes are affecting about 10 healthcare providers on their team throughout the area.
She said it is making the changes to "better align with industry standards and coordinate the services we are offering with the local healthcare needs of our communities."
Conemaugh are currently in the process of letting patients know about the staffing changes being made according to officials and are working with those impacted on taking the next steps.
